CONSERVATION

Tanzania has many threats to its natural resources, animals, and natural environments.

It is our mission at United African Adventures to aid in the conservation and protection of the wonders of Tanzania. We have a love and passion for Tanzania and its wildlife. For every safari that is booked through United African A we donate $100 to wildlife conservation efforts in Tanzania.

We have partnered with local organizations and NGOs to assist in their anti-poaching, conservation, and education efforts.

Through the efforts of many individuals and safari companies like Encounter African Safaris we are starting to see great improvements in the wildlife and natural environments of Tanzania.

  • One third of Tanzania is now made up of protected lands.

  • There is an effort to move from burning charcoal and wood to using other sources of fuel to prevent deforestation.

  • While a few years ago animal populations were declining, the decline has stopped or become less rapid.

  • There are multiple new rules and regulations in place to hopefully protect against poaching.

  • Relationships between animals and native Tanzanians are improving due to education programs.

It is incredibly crucial to Tanzania's animals and land that we continue efforts to teach local Tanzanian's about how to live mutually with the wild animals, as well as aid in the protection of our natural resources from poachers and other outside influences.
